olga and bernie, a young married couple, are anticipating the arrival of their adopted daughter sometime within 2008. upon her arrival, their 2 bedroom cape cod style home will begin to feel small quickly. as such, they contacted Vesna interior redesign to help them with the process of preparing their home for market.
the first step is to set up a real estate staging consultation. this involves a thorough walk-thru evaluation of the property, both inside and out. a comprehensive real estate staging action plan was prepared exclusively for their home. this arrives via post and/or email if preferred, within 48 hours. their cost was $200.

I first gave the couple some “homework” to complete;

I first gave the couple some “homework” to complete;
step 1 –sort through and cut down on the clutter in the basement. they will need to free up space for the addition of items that will be edited from the living areas above. the basement has a wonderful workbench area (NICE SELLING FEATURE) – which is completely obstructed by clutter. step 2
store over HALF of all the collectibles on display throughout the house. olga is an avid collector of figurines, pottery, and antique art. it is a lovely collection, but will overwhelm potential home buyers. their mission is to store over HALF of the collections, in neatly labeled boxes, and stack in the basement against the walls.
once these steps are completed, the first room to stage will be the dining room.
